This is part of a work I've done, inspired in Aldous Huxley's "Brave New World". I centered myself around the drug Soma.
3. - "...a televisão funcionando ininterruptamente, a torneira de pachuli ligeiramente aberta de modo a deixar correr o perfume gota a gota e os comprimidos de soma ao alcance da mão. Foi ali que ficou mas, no entanto, não era ali que estava. Estava sempre noutra parte, infinitamente longe em férias; em férias em qualquer outro mundo..."
3. - "...television always on, and the patchouli tap just dripping, and the soma tablets within reach of her hand-there she remained; and yet wasn't there at all, was all the time away, infinitely far away, on a holiday; on holiday in some other world..."
